Iranian officials have responded sharply to the reported attacks. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran “reserves all options” in response to what he called a dangerous and unlawful act of aggression. He warned that the incident could have lasting and severe consequences for regional stability. Araghchi called upon United Nations member states to acknowledge the gravity of the situation and stressed that Iran would exercise its legitimate rights under international law to defend its sovereignty, national interests, and population.
